In conjunction with World Mental Health Day 2024 (WMHD 2024), a new series of bite-sized courses were launched to promote mental health awareness and well-being in the workplace.
WMHD 2024’s theme is “It is Time to Prioritize Mental Health in the
Workplace.” As such, this new series of e-learning includes a variety of
courses curated to provide you with essential knowledge in addressing
workplace-related mental health challenges.
Being caught talking to yourself can feel embarrassing, and some
people even stigmatize this behavior as a sign of mental instability. But
decades of research show that talking to yourself is completely normal; most if
not all of us engage in some form of self-talk every day. So why do we talk to
ourselves? And does what we say matter?
Dig into the psychological benefits of positive self-talk, and find
out when it can become problematic.
