Module #1: The Unwelcome Gift
Attending business conferences is an important part of building
relationships, gaining industry insights, and representing our organization.
However, it is also a time when our ethical principles may be tested –
especially in the context of gifts, hospitality, and informal agreements. As a
representative of Wasco committed to integrity and transparency, we must
remember that ethical conduct does not pause when we are offsite.
Module #2: The Unfriendly Friend
When it comes to open tenders and procurement, ethics is not just a best practice – it is a legal and moral obligation. These are high-risk areas for bribery and corruption, and how we conduct ourselves directly impacts the trust, reputation, and compliance of our organization.

UNGC is a voluntary initiative by the United Nations, urging companies to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. UNGC also encourages taking actions that advance societal goals and support the Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs).
